How to reach the beach

The beach is easily accessible from Malad West Railway station, it’s around a 12 km distance. You can take the BEST bus service (bus no. 271) or hire an Auto Rickshaw. You can also book a ride on Ola or an Uber.

Swimming in the Beach

The beach is not safe for swimming as the undercurrents are pretty strong.

There are warning signs for swimming prohibition and lifeguards have been appointed for the safety of tourists. However, accidents of drowning are common as the tides keep changing rapidly and people tend to ignore the warning signs.

Quicksand in the water makes it even more dangerous to swim in seawater.

The place gets pretty deserted after 7 pm and you should pack up and leave the beach before 7 pm.
